The structure of the monument is just like the blooming flower with seven petals, the blooming flower represents that Pakistan is developing country and the four petals among the seven represents the four provinces of Pakistan and other remaining three petals symbolize territories as Gilgit- Baltistan, Azad Kashmir and the federally Administered Tribal areas. While the monument on the top of the hill looks like the “Star” and crescent moon that is just like the flag of Pakistan. Pakistan Monument portrays the story of the Pakistan Movement and base on the theme of the significance strength, unity, and commitment of the people of Pakistan as an icon of independent and the free nation.
The arrangement of the Pakistan Monument of blooming flower petals built on the granite while the inner walls of the petals of the flower are ornamented with the murals. The base or the middle platform made up of the five-pointed star that is surrounded by the water body of fountains. While the metallic hemispherical area surrounds by the star with the famous verses of spiritual poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal and the sayings of the father of nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah that inspires the people and generating the patriotism among the people and sense of pride being an independent nation.
